Watch the Eiffel Tower Grow with Artistic Etchings...

I have loved this set since I saw it in the new 2010/2011 catalogue for Stampin'Up. It has such a great verasitility about it for those vintage cards or romantic cards. I decided to use it to make a card or 3 for my mother.

Now the idea of the "growing eiffel tower"was actually anothers, it was shown at the Brisbane Stampin'Up Regionals and I liked it alot so decided to give it a go. I can not remember the name of the designer so can't credit her but if you know please let me know.

I used the new Ïn Colours for these. Also for the peach Pizazz card I used very Vanilla instead of Whisper white cardstock.

Christmas is coming... Check out the Contempo Christmas Stamp set from Stampin' Up

So Christmas is but 12 weeks away... that sends shivers down my spine. I am no where near prepared, I am not sure what that jolly man in red will be leaving my 3 kidlets this year but I hope it's not toys, they have more than enough.

Anyways I regress.

So Stampin'Up demonstrators have their own secret NING chat site and on this site one sweet demonstrator decided that since Christmas is coming and since Stampin'Up have some lovely christmas punches that we should get organised and do a swap so we have ideas and samples.

Now please be kind, this is only my first month having used Stampin'Up products or having done stamping at all really so I know mine isn't perfect and is relatively simple, but hey it's a start and we all have to start somewhere :)

So without further ado, here is my contribution (I had to make 10 but am only showing one as they are all the same)

Features Old Olive Cardstock and Ink, Real Red cardstock and Ink, Whisper White Cardstock, Ribbon is 5/8 "Whisper White Satin which I coloured with ink pad, Early Espresso Ink, and Embossing powder.

Robots in a row....

In my starter kit I chose to swap one of the stamp sets for the spunky robots. My choice being influenced by the fact I have 2 boys so it will get plenty of use on theirs and their friends cards.

This is just a simple card I made, I didn't colour the roots as I feel they don't need it. The colours from Stampin' Up Patterned paper is more than enough colour. It ccan be personalised with a name or sentiment on the front.

I alos did this one with a single robot. This one again has the potential to be personalised (I am awaiting the occassion and childs name lol). Again I didn't colour the robot, prefering to have it stand out against the bright background.

What a fun Catalogue Launch by my Upline..... Cute Cards to boot!

So, Last Friday my Upline Tina had her catalogue launch. Being I had just signed up as a Stampin'Up demonstrator she invited me along to see what it's all about.

She showed off products from the new catalogue and then we made 2 cards using some of the products.

First up is the lovely friends card above. Very effective with the stamp off effect.

Next we made a simple but sweet birthday card.  This one used one of the new embossing folders.

Such simple designs but very effective again. If you would like to learn how to make these cards please contact me.
